Aciphex Sprinkle Drug Interactions
Because Aciphex Sprinkle can interact with certain drugs, your healthcare provider needs to know about all of your other medications and supplements before you start treatment. For example, certain diuretics, antifungal medications, and iron can cause problems with Aciphex Sprinkle. Some of these combinations may cause serious side effects or decrease the effectiveness of the drug.
Aciphex® Sprinkle™ (rabeprazole sprinkle) may react with a number of other medicines. Some of the drugs that may interact with Aciphex Sprinkle include:
- Atazanavir (Reyataz®)
- Bosutinib (Bosulif®)
- Cefditoren (Spectracef®)
- Certain antifungal medicines, such as:
- Itraconazole (Sporanox®)
- Ketoconazole (Nizoral®)
- Posaconazole (Noxafil®)
- Certain diuretics, such as:
- Bumetanide (Bumex®)
- Chlorothiazide (Diuril®)
- Chlorthalidone (Thalitone®)
- Ethacrynic acid (Edecrin®)
- Furosemide (Lasix®)
- Hydrochlorothiazide (Esidrix®, HydroDIURIL®, Microzide®, Oretic®)
- Metolazone (Zaroxolyn®)
- Torsemide (Demadex®)
- Clopidogrel (Plavix®)
- Dasatinib (Sprycel®)
- Delavirdine (Rescriptor®)
- Digoxin (Lanoxin®)
- Erlotinib (Tarceva®)
- Iron
- Mesalamine (Apriso®, Asacol® HD, Delzicol™, Lialda®, Pentasa®)
- Methotrexate (Rheumatrex®)
- Nelfinavir (Viracept®)
- Nilotinib (Tasigna®)
- Ponatinib (Iclusig®)
- Rilpivirine (Edurant™)
- Tacrolimus (Prograf®)
- Vismodegib (Erivedge®)
- Warfarin (Coumadin®, Jantoven®).
