Aciphex Side Effects
The most common side effect of Aciphex is headache. Other possible side effects include vomiting, nausea, and diarrhea. In postmarketing experience, a number of other side effects have been reported, including anemia, yellow skin, and pneumonia. However, it's hard to say any of these symptoms are actual side effects of the drug or merely a coincidence.
As with any medicine, there are possible side effects with Aciphex® (rabeprazole sodium). However, not everyone who takes Aciphex will experience side effects. In fact, most people tolerate the drug well. When people do develop side effects, the symptoms are usually minor, meaning they require no treatment or are easily treated by you or your healthcare provider.
(This article covers many, but not all, of the possible side effects with Aciphex. Your healthcare provider can discuss a more complete list of Aciphex side effects with you.)
