Pathological Hypersecretory Conditions
Aciphex has been approved for long-term treatment for people who produce too much stomach acid (known as pathological hypersecretory conditions). The most common of these conditions is Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
 

Aciphex Uses in Children

Aciphex has been approved to treat GERD in children age 12 and older. It is not approved for use in younger children.
 

Off-Label Aciphex Uses

On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend a drug for something other than the conditions for which it is approved to treat. This is called an "off-label" use. At this time, there are no known off-label uses for Aciphex.
