Available Strengths

Prescription Axid is available in the following strengths and forms:
 
  • Axid 150 mg capsules
  • Axid 300 mg capsules
  • Axid Oral Solution 15 mg per mL (a bubble gum-flavored liquid version of the medication).
     
The over-the-counter version is available in one strength -- Axid AR 75 mg tablets.
 

Generic Axid

There are currently both brand-name and generic versions of prescription Axid licensed for sale. However, there are no generic versions of the non-prescription form.
