Does Curcumin Work for Rheumatoid Arthritis?

Early evidence suggests that curcumin may be useful in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. However, much more research is necessary before it can be determined whether curcumin really works or does not work for this use.

Curcumin has been studied only a little. It is not really known if it works or is safe for most uses, although early research in several areas is promising. If you are interested in using curcumin medicinally, it is a good idea to discuss this with your healthcare provider.
