There are a number of drugs that may interfere with Nexium. Serious consequences can happen as a result of these interactions, so it's important to tell your healthcare provider about all the medications you take, including over-the-counter medicines, supplements, and vitamins. Drug interactions with Nexium may occur with medications such as diazepam, digoxin, ketoconazole, and warfarin.

Interactions With Nexium: An Introduction

Nexium® (esomeprazole magnesium) may potentially interact with a number of other medicines. Some of these possible Nexium drug interactions may involve the following:
 
  • Certain antifungals, such as:

 

    • Fluconazole (Diflucan®)
    • Itraconazole (Sporanox®)
    • Ketoconazole (Nizoral®)
    • Posaconazole (Noxafil®)
    • Voriconazole (VFEND®)
