If you are taking both Protonix and ketoconazole, your body may metabolize them differently than intended. Your healthcare provider may choose to monitor your progress more closely in this case.
Protonix might increase the level of methotrexate in the blood, increasing the risk for methotrexate side effects. Check with your healthcare provider before combining these two medications.
If you are taking both Protonix and warfarin, your body may metabolize them differently than intended. Your healthcare provider may choose to monitor your INR (international normalized ratio) and prothrombin time more frequently and adjust your dosages accordingly.
