Nexium Problems

Nexium^® (esomeprazole magnesium) is a medicine that is often prescribed for the treatment of GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease).

It is important to tell your healthcare provider about all other medications you are taking before starting this medication; problems could occur if Nexium interacts with other drugs. You should also let your healthcare provider know if you have liver disease or liver failure, as people with severe liver problems require a lower dosage than normal.

Some of the more common Nexium problems are reported side effects. In clinical studies, people taking this medicine reported constipation, dry mouth, headaches, and nausea as possible side effects.
