Nizatidine (Cont.)

Nizatidine: What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

If you do not take your nizatidine as scheduled, take your next dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose of nizatidine.
 

Nizatidine Strengths

Prescription nizatidine is available in the following strengths:
 
  • Nizatidine 150 mg capsules
  • Nizatidine 300 mg capsules
  • Nizatidine oral solution 15 mg per mL (a bubble gum-flavored liquid version of nizatidine).
     
Over-the-counter nizatidine is available in one strength -- nizatidine AR 75 mg tablets.
 

Generic Nizatidine

There is currently both brand name and generic prescription nizatidine licensed for sale. However, there is no generic non-prescription nizatidine AR licensed for sale.
