Prevacid 15 mg

Prevacid Dosage Guidelines for GERD
For people experiencing
 gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) symptoms, the recommended Prevacid dosage is Prevacid 15 mg once a day for up to eight weeks. If the symptoms of GERD do not improve, your healthcare provider may recommend GERD treatment with Prevacid for another eight weeks.
 
Prevacid Dosing Recommendations for Erosive Esophagitis
The recommended starting dosage of Prevacid for the healing of erosive esophagitis is Prevacid 30 mg once a day for up to eight weeks. Once the erosive esophagitis is healed, the recommended daily dose is Prevacid 15 mg once a day to prevent the return of the erosive esophagitis.
 
Prevacid Dosage for Healing of Duodenal Ulcers
The recommended starting dose of Prevacid for the healing of a duodenal ulcer is Prevacid 15 mg once a day for four weeks. Once the ulcer has healed, your healthcare provider may recommend treatment with Prevacid 15 mg once a day to prevent the ulcer from returning.
