Prevacid Dangers

Although most people tolerate
 Prevacid® (lansoprazole) well, it is not free of dangerous risks. Because this medication is not suitable for everyone, make sure you talk to your healthcare provider about possible Prevacid dangers that may apply to you. For instance, make sure your healthcare provider is aware of any other medical conditions you may have and any other medications you are taking (including non-prescription medications, vitamins, and herbal supplements) before starting treatment with Prevacid. Dangers of this medication include potential side effects. Some of the most common Prevacid side effects include:
 
Other Prevacid precautions and warnings apply to women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, as well as people who have certain allergies (including allergies to foods, dyes, or preservatives). Also, you may not be able to take Prevacid if you have medical conditions, such as liver disease or liver failure.
