Genric Prilosec

Were you looking for information about
Generic Prilosec? Genric Prilosec is a common misspelling of generic Prilosec.

All of the patents for prescription Prilosec® (omeprazole) have expired and there is currently a generic version of the medication available. Generic Prilosec is available in 10 mg and 20 mg capsules. Even though prescription Prilosec is not interchangeable with Prilosec OTC, many healthcare providers will recommend that people take the Prilosec OTC rather than the prescription Prilosec (or generic Prilosec) because the over-the-counter medication is cheaper. There is no generic Prilosec OTC manufactured at this time.

(Click Generic Prilosec for more information on generic Prilosec, a list of the different manufacturers of generic Prilosec, and details on why there is currently no generic Prilosec OTC available.)
