Protonix Substitute

 Protonix® (pantoprazole sodium) is a prescription medicine often used for treating GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) and other conditions related to the esophagus, stomach, and intestines.
 
Most people respond well to this medication. If you do not see an improvement in your symptoms or experience any side effects during treatment, however, you may want to consider a substitute for Protonix. A number of other medications are also approved for the treatment of GERD.
