Reglan® (metoclopramide) is a prescription medicine licensed to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and diabetic gastroparesis. The medication, which should only be used short-term, works by helping food move through the stomach more quickly and preventing the stomach contents from refluxing back into the esophagus. Reglan comes in tablet, oral solution, and injectable form. Talk to your healthcare provider before using this drug if you have depression, high blood pressure, or any allergies.
