Reglan® (metoclopramide) is a prescription medicine licensed to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and diabetic gastroparesis. The medication, which should only be used short-term, works by helping food move through the stomach more quickly and preventing the stomach contents from refluxing back into the esophagus.
