Zantec for Infants

 Infant Zantac? Zantec for infants is a common misspelling and variation of infant Zantac.
 
There are two convenient types of Zantac® available for treating an infant. Zantac EFFERdose® is a citrus-flavored tablet that is dissolved in water before consumption, and Zantac syrup comes in a peppermint flavor. These forms of Zantac are licensed to treat ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and erosive esophagitis in infants. Both of these forms of Zantac require a prescription -- never give over-the-counter Zantac to an infant.
