Zegerid? Zegarid is a common misspelling of Zegerid.
Zegerid® (omeprazole/sodium bicarbonate) is available by prescription and is licensed for treating problems associated with the stomach, intestines, and esophagus. The medication comes in the form of capsules and a powder (that is mixed with water to make an oral solution). It is usually taken once daily, at least one hour before eating anything. Although most people tolerate this medication well, side effects are possible and can include headaches and diarrhea.
